You can't sing the blues in an air conditioned room

All my life I had to struggle, I paid some heavy dues
Squeekin’ out a livin’, playin’ easy blues
Then one day my music made me a millionaire
I bought a big old mansion with central heated air
Now I got more money than I know how to use
Got everything a man could want, but I ain’t got no blues
Success for me could only lead to my immediate doom
’cause I can’t play the blues in an airconditioned room

Blues Brothers

I guess you can’t play the blues in an air conditioned room unless you buy power from Southern California Edison or San Diego Gas and Electric. Then…you can play the blues. Summer is coming and the rates are going up, the summer is going to be expensive and we believe solar is the answer.

I am reminded of a movie called Ulee’s Gold with Peter Fonda. I was watching the movie and as he drove his pickup truck into the back woods swamps it came to me that he was driving down a little dirt path just outside of Wewahitchca, FL. I’ve been down that road many times. I could write a blues song about sleeping in the trailer by the river, fishing for small mouth bass, cooking shell crackers on the grill and running a boat on the mighty Apalachicola river.

I love listening to the blues. You must have lived through adversity and sorrow to play the blues and to understand the blues. The current financial markets, housing markets and job markets have many of our friends singing the blues.

We at Heritage Solar understand tough times and will do everything we can to work with our customers to make it through these trying times.
