The Best Solar Panels for the Price
The best modules on the market (hybrid, monocrystalline and top quality polycrystalline) perform extremely well when they are hot and the sun intensity is greatest. They also perform better in low light conditions. A Monocrystalline or Hybrid module will start in 5% of maximum sun intensity while polycrystalline modules won't start up until they hit 10% maximum sun intensity.
Some Cheap Chinese polycrystalline modules are made from cheap metallurgical grade silicon and should be avoided at all costs.
There are a few high quality polycrystalline modules, such as Solon and Trina, that perform exceedingly well in low light conditions as well.
Consumers often compare a 5 kW system designed with low cost modules to a high value system designed with Sanyos or Solons. In the end, it doesn't matter what label they put on the module, it is the power output you will see over the next 25 years. Sanyo Modules are hybrid modules that combine high efficiency monocrystalline cells with an amorphous silicon layer to achieve the best of both worlds. Sanyo's perform extremely well in low light, hazy conditions, and outperform the competition when it is hot outside. They produce more power over their lifetime than conventional modules. Sanyo's offer superior High Temperature Performance, higher output per sq .ft., capture a wider range of light frequencies, use less space, require fewer roof penetrations and have a guaranteed -0% Power Tolerance. Check out the performance statistics for a Sanyo Installation.
Solon modules have a better than average temperature coefficient and a -3% Power Tolerance. They perform well in low light conditions and high temperature conditions. The Solon modules provide a cost effective alternative to cheap Chinese modules that are flooding the market today. Check out the performance statistics for a Solon Installation.
Heritage Solar Systems provide more power, require less roof space and are more cost effective than other systems available today. By using high efficiency modules, we are able to reduce the number of roof penetrations, reduce the installation cost, and provide great cost/power performance.

This equates to volume buying power, great prices and excellent customer service. Our installation crews have installed more than 650 systems in the past 9 years. Lead by degreed site managers with C-10 electrical contractors licenses, we take every step to ensure a successful, trouble free installation.
If you are looking for a cost effective solar power system using some of the best solar modules and inverters available, Heritage Solar is the right choice. Solar electric systems are our specialty. Our goal is to provide the best systems at a great price and we are always on time.
Customer Corner
After crunching all the numbers it was clear that we were going solar. The only question was, "Who was going to help us get there?" We talked with about five local installers, got estimates from all five and formal bids from two. Heritage Solar was so thorough in their process and straightforward about costs, performance, and schedules it was 'no contest.' Working with Dennis has been a pleasure the whole way. The install was flawless - on time, on budget - and the performance of the system has exceeded our expectations, while *very closely* matching Heritage's performance estimates. The reduced electricity bills are great but absolute best part is watching the meter go backwards. We are very glad we made the decision to go with Heritage.
Solar will Save you Money and
The Time to Buy is Now
With State and Federal Solar Incentives, you can save money now and protect yourself from large increases in energy costs. It is well known that Oil Production Peaked in the US in 1970 and the North Sea Oil Fields peaked in 1999. . Hubbert's Peak predicts that oil production in the World peaked in 2005.
Electricity prices in California have increased at over 6% per year (30 years worth of data) with virtually no external pressure. Limited supplies, tremendous demand from India and China, and increased environmental protection are combining to create the Perfect Storm.
Many people are looking out to the horizon for technological breakthroughs which will drive the cost of Solar Down. In fact, reduced incentives from the State and Federal Government combined with drastically increased demand due to high energy costs will drive the overall cost of solar up.
It's Our Responsibility ...Dream Big
Act Now
Buy a solar power system and reduce your Environmental Impact many times more than by purchasing a Hybrid Car. A 5kW Solar Power System from Heritage Solar will reduce your Environmental Impact by the equivalent of 1.8 cars. That's right. It is equivalent to not driving over a million miles in the next 50 years. It reduces your carbon footprint by 688,000 lbs. in the same amount of time.
If you don't have time to plant 3 acres of trees but want to make an environmental statement, ask us to install a 3-5 kW Solar Power System on your home.
What do we need from you? A copy of your power bill and a description of your roof. You can contact us at our offices in San Diego or Orange County and we will help you decide on the type and size of system that will meet your needs.
